Avnel Gold Mining Limited, listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (Ticker: AVK), owns and operates the Kalana Exploitation Permit in Mali through its 80% owned Malian subsidiary, Societe d’Exploitation des Mines d’Or Kalana (“SOMIKA”). The Malian Government holds the remaining 20% interest in SOMIKA.
