How do I get to Bamako?
Many international airlines fly regularly to Bamako and connections are on the whole very good.
Currently Royal Air Maroc and Air France offer a near daily service to Bamako. Another good option is Air Senegal International which flies daily from Paris – Dakar, Senegal, to continue onto Bamako, there is only a one hour connection time in Dakar. Afriqiyah is also a possibility with flights from London, Paris and Brussels with connections to Bamako via Tripoli, Ethiopian Airlines and Kenyan Airlines fly three times a week to Bamako.
Tunisair flies to Bamako once per week and many regional airlines also frequent Bamako including Air Mauritanie, Air Ivoire, Air Algerie, Air Guinee, Air Burkina, Camair, Air Ivoire, and Air Burkina. Aero has just started flight from Nigeria to Mali.
Bamako – Senou Airport is located about twenty minutes drive and 15km away from the city centre.
Your arrival in Bamako: Airport transfers
As a participant airport pick up on arrival and drop off on your return journey is included in your delegate package. However in order for us to do this, please can you inform us of your arrival / departure time and flight numbers.
Please also inform us of where you are staying so that we can take you to your hotel directly. If we do not receive this information then we cannot guarantee your collection at the airport.
Shuttle bus service
We will be providing a shuttle bus service during the event to take you to the Centre International de Conférence de Bamako and any other activities that are connected with the event. Please check your hotel for the latest timetable information when you arrive.
